so in this tutorial I'm going to show you how to run through the steps involved in hiding and unhiding an element here we are in the plan view entry level and I've got two walls over here on my drawing so to hide one of these walls you select it by doing a left-click on your mouse and then there are a couple of ways of hiding it but I'm going to show you what I think is the quickest when it's selected to a right click on your mouse and you get this menu coming up here and what we want to do is come to hide in view now we've got several options here and really the main two you might be interested in are by elements or by category now by elements means that it will be the single wall that I've selected there which I'm going to hide whatever items are selected and are highlighted in blue if I selected category what the computer will do is it will hide every instance of that wall type in the plan that can be handy but if it's only one particular wall or one particular section of the wall you're interested in it's by elements that we're looking for here so do a left click on that and it has been removed from the model now it has been removed from the view of the model so it is still there we just can't see it so this might be handy if you wanted to print out certain parts of the drawing which elements are turned off just for clarity the wall is still there it's just hidden so how do you get it back it could mount to the bottom of your screen here you will have a option here is the little light bulb and if you hover over it it will say reveal hidden elements now when you do a left click on that you get a new version of the view coming up which shows you clearly here the wall is still there it's just not viewable in the standard view so if I close that for a second so I go back here and turn off come back down here to close revealing elements turn that off I'm brought back to my normal plan view which I had a few minutes ago and that wall is not there so go here to reveal hidden elements you can now see it and if we want to make that element viewable again in the plan click on us do a left click to select it then do a right click and you get a similar menu coming up here and we've got the option of unhide in view and click on elements because it's the wall that we want to unhide in the view come back down here and turn off the reveal head in elements option left click brings us back to standard plan view and that wall is back in there again so the key to it really is that little light bulb switch down there

Thanks Analisa your participation is very much appreciated
