so one of the new things we're gonna do here is we're going to change the material type of our part we're gonna incorporate part a parts list that includes information about the volume and mass the soya can know if you've created the part correctly and then I want to check every individual dimension I can just tell if you've created the correct volume part now you know tell me about all the dimensions at once and then I can tell if you've changed the material type by just checking the mass all right so what we do is go back to our part and it's only one click really so this menu up here what we've been using here for default is color but this one just to the left of it is in the material type for the this first part click on the arrow I want you to change it to aluminum 6-0 6-1 so I scroll to the top or aluminum is and just choose aluminum 6-0 6-1 see the part automatically changes color indicates that this is now aluminum and we save that we have to make sure to save so that when we go back to our drawing now I can see our drawing has changed a little bit and so just like we've always done we put in a parts list um and it is for practice part one say open say okay put it in the upper right corner alright so that's it and then we do have to update it or change it so we right go over to the menu click on edit part parts list and we want to choose our columns so we want to get rid of the description remove that um and what we want to do is we want to scroll down until you find volume I want to include that first click Add and then we go up to mass and that say okay apply and okay so now I can tell that it's if it's correctly built it will have a mass I start a volume of sixteen point five thirty one cubic inches and if you've also built it right and created selected the correct material type it will have a mass of one point six one three pound mass and that is officially it
