now let's see how we can create a BMX hyper-model Graphisoft a BMX lets you create an interactive walkthrough model out of your ArchiCAD project and the functions needed to create and share a BMX model are included in archicad the BMX model can contain the full documentation of your ArchiCAD project the 3d model plus views and layouts you can open and explore the BIM X model content in the free BIM X desktop viewer in the free bimx mobile app on any mobile device in the more sophisticated BIM X Pro mobile app with extra features to create a hyper model you first need to set up a publisher set in archicad and publish it in the hyper model format there are two ways to do this use archicad's publisher if you use the publishers organizer mode you can choose specific items from the publisher set to be published as the hyper model use the BMX hyper model wizard this method is launched through the file publish bimx hyper-model command this takes you through the wizard which helps you configure a hyper-model publisher set in a few easy steps we'll use the first method the easiest way to create new publisher sets is by using the organizer once you create a new set you can easily drag and drop any viewer layout open the organizer select the publishers the right-hand panel go on the top level of the hierarchy click on the new publisher set button type for BMX hyper-model in the name field and click create select the newly created set and click on the publishing properties button in the publisher set properties dialog you can choose how you would like to publish the hyper model your options are upload BMX hyper model or save select the save files publishing method create single-file option set the name to intermediate training BMX click on the Browse button and define a location to save the file from the info set drop down menu select none and click OK now we need to add views and layouts to our publisher set please note that the BIM X hyper-model must contain at least one 3d view in the right-hand panel of the organizer double-click on the for BMX hyper-model set then in the left panel select the view map drag and drop the entrance detailed shading view from the 3d renderings folder in the left panel select the layout book and add the a zero one floor plans a zero three sections and a zero four elevations folders to the BMX hyper-model publisher set in the BMX hyper-model publisher set select the entrance detailed shading view click on the options button in the dialog that appears check the generate global illumination for realistic shading checkbox to create a high realistic view of the hyper model it will increase the publishing time but on the other hand the appearance of the model will be dramatically improved click OK to close this dialog finally select the entire set publishing option and published the hyper model close the publishing dialog when the publishing process is finished the saved hyper model can be opened on a computer or mobile device with iOS or an Android OS please note that you can explore 2d documentation of hyper models only in BIM X mobile apps if you don't have BIM X desktop Viewer installed in your computer you can download it from the Graphisoft site if you don't have the BIM X or BIM X Pro apps yet please visit the BMX site at BMX ArchiCAD com you can open the hyper-model in mobile apps using any cloud service ie Dropbox or iCloud to get more information about BIM X please visit the Graphisoft help center site congratulations you've completed this training guide we hope that you have learned many new skills while exploring the modeling and documentation capabilities of ArchiCAD by now you should have all the necessary knowledge to start your own projects in ArchiCAD and complete them successfully if you're interested in the advanced modeling and coordination capabilities of ArchiCAD on a high-rise building project we suggest that you continue with the advanced ArchiCAD training the following webpage provides additional free training guides in other areas of archicad including building object creation collaboration and modeling w wrff a soft calm / learning / training underscore materials you have any questions regarding ArchiCAD or other Graphisoft products please visit the Graphisoft Help Center our online knowledge base at Help Center Graphisoft calm feel free to contact graphisoft or its worldwide partners with further questions at WWF a soft calm we look forward to seeing you in the ArchiCAD user community

Graphisoft BIM X brings your BIM projects to mobile devices offering a revolutionary new way to present explore and understand your building designs this video series is a basic step-by-step guide on how to create share and update BIM X hyper-models from Graphisoft ArchiCAD you can jump to specific chapters of this clip by clicking on the titles in this list you can also watch all the chapters successively we'll give you some advice on how to prepare your ArchiCAD BIM project before exporting it as a BMX project then you'll see how to share a BMX hyper-model with clients using the BIM X model transfer service and finally we'll explain how to present explore and understand your building designs let's first see what you need to start creating BIM X projects with archicad please note that you need to have Graphisoft ArchiCAD version 17 or later to publish bimx hyper-models if you don't have archicad yet download a fully functional 30-day trial version from my archicad calm please open a design project that you'd like to export as an interactive BMX hyper model here are various project views of the villa func residential project here's a floor plan a cross-section as well as a 3d perspective view before diving into the actual steps to create BIM X hyper-models let's overview a couple of things that we should keep in mind before publishing the advantage of BIM X hyper models is that they incorporate both the 3d model and the corresponding 2d documentation set of a building BIM X hyper models provide a tight connection of 3d and 2d design information similar to hyperlinks and the linked content on the Internet so if we wish to create a BMX hyper model it is optimal if we have both the 3d model and the 2d documentation set available and properly prepared in ArchiCAD beforehand it's recommended to create a dedicated 3d view that we would like to present as the default 3d view in the BIM X model please make sure that a 3d project view is open and then initiate the publishing process using the publish bimx hyper-model option from the file menu this initiates the bimx publishing wizard which the recommended workflow if you are publishing for the first two time the wizard will prompt you to create a new publishing set meaning that you will be able to select those project views and drawings that you'd like to include in the BMX project in addition to the 3d model more experienced users might opt to use the organizer to create then carefully fine-tune and finally publish bimx hyper-models in the next video we will continue by publishing the BMX hyper model to the BMX model transfer site
Thanks geysiry your participation is very much appreciated
