all right so we've put a region in and the next thing I want to do is put a building pad in and for that we need the sidewalks drawing and we don't have it in here yet so I'm gonna go back to my site I'm going to go to insert now we go to link CAD and I'm going to pick the sidewalks which is SW leave all that stuff set the way that it is click open and it says it won't be visible we're mine with that close all your little warnings we go to ourselves and we zoom out and there it is and we just move it down to where we can see it okay so now I go back to my site plan I'm going to move it into place and now I've got that guy in there I'm going to go to my wireframe and basically we want to draw an outline around the front of this building and around this blue line and down all the way around so I'm going to go in to architecture or sorry to massing insight and I'm going to click on building pad and it's going to say Oh your work planes all messed up you can't do that and so I'm like okay so I go to my architecture set and I set my work plane to the plan a0 and then I come back go to massing insight and I'm going to go to building pad and it puts me into sketch mode and it wants me to make an outline so you have a couple of options I'm going to use the tick line for these right here I'm just going to go in and pick and it's going to make those lines for me and this line I actually want to drag over to there and then I'll go back to pick line again that tick that took that pick that took that and I don't like that one because it's crooked and so I'm just going to draw a straight line to there and then I'll go back to my pick line and I'll pick that line that line and that line and then I'll use my trim command to sort of finish that stuff out one two three four six and then that one and that one and that should do it so what it's going to do it's going to push that whole topography down to the Doyle plan a zero so if I hit check oh it says I don't have I haven't closed it off yet so I'm going to continue and I'm going to come over here and trim trim and trim and trim the other thing is that this line cannot be on the edge of that topo surface it has to be inboard of it it can't be coincident so hit check and if I go to my 3d view you're going to see boom that guy has shoved that topography all the way down which is great and the next thing we want to do is create we want to make sure this topography kind of comes down flush with the edge of the creek as it can and then we're going to create a level based on that so if I pick this building pad and I look at sort of the edge of that Creek I'm going to come over here and set this to negative 4 feet and that's going to plunk that guy down pretty much level with the edge of that now at this point what I want is I want to create a level we have levels for the house over here but we want to level down here that defines where that Z coordinate is so I'm going to go to my south or to my site plan and I want to cut a section right through where we made that building pad so I'm going to go to view section and I'm going to left-click in the middle of the street here and then I'm just going to go all the way through that part of the site and left-click I'm going to minimize the amount of my view range I'm going to left-click off of the section and then I'm going to double click on the blue section head it's going to take me into the section and I'm going to make it larger right so now I can see that I can come in I can see this building pad and I can create a level that is coincident with that building pad so I'm going to come in and I'm gonna go to architecture level and I'm going to left-click it doesn't have to be exact I'm just going to left-click right here I'm going to dress my level out over to there and I'm going to rename it I wanted to be named trellis plant a one okay and I'm going to rename the view that it made which it made a view over here I'll say yes and you'll see it will rename it and then I want this level to be coincident with the top of that building pad so right now it's at negative five eleven I believe it's negative seven is where we want it so if I go to negative seven it's now coincident with the top of that building pad which is great so if I pick this building pad remember we hosted it to plan a zero I'm going to Rijo stit to our trellis plan and set this to zero and then negative 4 so now I have whoops I missed that negative 4 you see how it pushed it down 4 feet below I want that to be zero so now it'll pop it back up so now we have a level and a base from which to work so when we come back we will put in all these buildings right here

Thanks Alfonso your participation is very much appreciated
