Been
keeping up with the LT Unlimited blog's Sheet Set Manager series?
If not, you'll have missed Kate Morrical's in-depth
tutorials on how to organise and manage
collections of drawing sheets into sets in AutoCAD
LT. But not to worry - you can still catch the lot
online.
Kate has ended the series with how to 'Automate Title Block
Data', which follows on from her previous video explaining how to
use field and sheet label properties to automate view labels and
callout blocks. Technical Marketing Manager for AutoCAD LT Kate
said: "This one might represent the biggest change in workflow for
you, since it shows how you can go from a two-part title block
(xref and block) to managing project-wide and sheet-specific
information through the SSM."
The Sheet Set Manager is one of the powerful tools in AutoCAD LT 2012
that's been taken directly from the full-featured version of
AutoCAD. It organises and manages collections of drawing sheets
into named sets, making it easier to know which files belong to
which projects. For the full series of Kate's Sheet Set Manager
tutorials, from an introduction up to creating archived sets,
custom properties, automated title blocks and more, visit the LT Unlimited blog.
