HP have just released the latest in their range of large format CAD printers - the Designjet T1200.

The printer handles 2 online rolls and offers smart switching for unattended printing, helping you save time and leaving you free to get on with other things. In its Economode setting, the T1200 prints 2 A1 pages per minute, which is sure to help with those ever-pressing deadlines.

Speed is further improved by the T1200's massive 32GB memory, allowing it to fly through complex files quickly and accurately.

The HP T1200 also sees a larger than average matte black ink cartridge come into play; the 300ml volume cartridge gives greater confidence when printing is left unattended and also entails slightly improved economy.

A front-loading top roll makes for convenient media changing, while the free HP Instant Printing Utility and embedded Web server allow you to print batch files without opening any application - quite the time-saver!

All in all, HP's latest Designjet is a solid offering, and even includes secure IPsec and IPv6 support. As an optional extra for added peace of mind, an external drive can be used that will disable the internal drive and allow for the safe storage of any sensitive information in the print queue by simply removing the drive from the printer.
