Autodesk Release 2010 Software

Jigsaw have now acquired 2 new Autodesk software packages in addition to the 2010 releases in our existing product portfolio.

The 2010 versions offer new features and functionality as well as improved tools for digital prototyping, building information modelling (BIM), and sustainable design and analysis - all of which will help architects, engineers and designers meet increasing commercial and public sector demand for more energy-efficient buildings, products and infrastructure.

Ecotect 2010

ECOTECT software supports the replication, analysis and optimisation of high performance buildings and systems from early conception right through to delivery. It is particularly valuable within sustainable design processes as it allows designers to test, evaluate and prototype a design and respond to it appropriately. Utilising and supporting 3D spatial models, Ecotect enables users to view simulation results in a rich visual format, allowing for effective feedback, communication and change implementation. By simulating the design's performance, continuous appraisal of the design can be carried out and predictions made as to how building performance will be affected by design options. This reduces the cost of sustainable design, as all changes and calculations are conducted virtually - without the need for manual calculations or physical models.

Featured design analysis tools include: shadows and reflections, shading design, solar analysis, lighting design, right-to-light, acoustic analysis, thermal analysis, ventilation and air flow, building regulations, and resource management.

AutoCAD Revit Architecture Visualisation Suite 2010

Revit Architecture Visualisation Suite provides maximum creative freedom for design and advanced visualisation. Combining Revit Architecture, 3ds Max Design, Navisworks Review, AutoCAD Architecture, and AutoCAD software applications into a single comprehensive solution gives you greater flexibility for understanding and communicating your designs - from concept to the final presentation.
